Ephemeral sculpture II

Laurent Moulager

During the brief moment when time freezes, you could be anything: a fugitive thought, a great pleasure, a unique vision of yourself frozen as a sculpture.

This picture is made of human flesh and a sheet of fine plastic which floats over the face and the body, and as a thought, for a millisecond it becomes eternal.

I want my pictures to provoke. I want the viewer to be struck, with a level of discomfort and yet a with a sense of beauty. I do not edit my pictures with Photoshop, instead I work in real time creating startling effects during the photoshoot. In post production I work only on the saturation, clarity, brightness and contrast.
